The Rights To Ricky Sanchez: The Sixers Podcast

One of the Children Of The Process, Robert Covington, joins us for a short interview to preview his appearance at the 2018 Lottery Party. We purposely did not ask him about much basketball, as we're saving that for his appearance at our live show at the Lottery Party. We did get him to talk Hinkie banner, Brogdon booing, TJ in practice and skipping the Eastern Conference Finals.

Lottery Party presale is 3/21 if you're getting the Ricky Newsletter, and 3/23 for the general public. Hit our website for details.

Joel Embiid has gone from not playing in any back to backs and resting what seemed to be once a week, to playing every single game. His play is slipping, does he need a night or two off? We go through the possible playoff matchups, discuss Chris Ryan and John Gonzalez's LeBron and Hinkie podcast, wrap up Justice For Joel and Fly The Process, and Adam Silver's decision to try and save college athletes.

The week in Sixers has taken a turn for the better, after a dead-legs loss to the Wizards and a heartbreaker to the Heat, a ho-hum win over the Cavs in Cleveland and a comeback victory over the Hornets has the team primed for revenge in Milwaukee, along with 400 maniacs at Fly The Process. We discuss the newest turns in the LeBron to Philly saga (and the billboard that wasn't as good as ours), the addition of Ersan Ilysova, recap the first day of Fly The Process in Chicago.  We also talk a bit about Josh Harris' recent exploits.

What a week! The Sixers continue to make February the new January (shoutout Casey), and have now won seven in a row. We talk about the hot streak, what it would take for the Sixers to obtain Kawhi Leonard, whether the rumblings about LeBron mean anything, go Around The League with Ish Smith for playoff reform and tanking fines, and discuss who we're going to boo at Bus The Process III.

The Lottery Party is May 15th and tickets will be available in March. Keep listening for details!

There is simply no better team in sports than the Sixers in January. We discuss the week in games, including a season sweep of the Spurs, the recent great play of TLC, a long-overdue edition of Around The League with Ish Smith, some trades from the Lorenzo Brown mailbag, and finally the long promised discussion of the Black Mirror episode Hang The DJ as a metaphor for The Process.

Joel Embiid is an All-Star starter in 2018, soak it in. He's starting an All-Star game before Andrew Wiggins, Jabari Parker, and most surprisingly Doug McDermott. We discuss the greatness of Embiid, whether Simmons will make the team, and if the Sixers should be in on trying to trade for Kemba Walker or Rodney Hood. We also touch on the Markelle Fultz situation, the Process Echo Chamber, and the current struggles of Robert Covington.
