The Rights To Ricky Sanchez: The Sixers (76ers) Podcast (Time's Yours)
The Nets decided they were mostly not taking part in the Eastern Conference clash, and the Sixers took advantage (even though it got hairy). We talk about the game, Embiid's knee brace, Korkmaz and Milton's place in the playoff rotation, the weirdest NBA regular season ever, we rank the Sixers' rivals, talk about the idea of Dwight Howard sympathy, and give Daryl Morey an impossible skill in evaluating draft talent.

Furkan Korkmaz got the call, and answered it against the Thunder, as two-way Furk showed all the tools. We wonder if the Process Sixers ever looked as overmatched as the current Thunder, if Anthony Tolliver will last more than one 10-day, when George Hill might actually play for the Sixers, rivisit Spike's "we are fucked" take about the Celtics in 2018, and Ben Simmons centrism.

Now that it's had some time to think in, we give our thoughts on how Daryl Morey will proceed in his first year as President of Basketball Operations for the Sixers. How close does he think they are to being a title contender? We discuss Sam Hinkie's appearance with Pablo Torre on ESPN Daily, and his thoughts on Simmons, how much time it will take Morey, and his potential NBA return. We also discuss disposable napkins, trading for Victor Oladipo, and whether Morey counts as an original piece of the Ship Of Theseus (Process edition).

This is a good one. Jerome Allen grew up in North Philly, went to the Episcopal Academy, starred at Penn, played over a decade in the NBA and Europe, and later became head coach at Penn and is now an assistant coach for the Boston Celtics. Allen's new book When The Alphabet Comes talks about his life, and self examination after being charged in the Varsity Blues college admission scandal. We had an awesome talk with Jerome about Brad Stevens, Simmons and Embiid, Nick Foles, God Shammgod stealing his move and his book.

One year since the Kawhi Leonard quadruple doink, why it still hurts, and what would have happened in overtime. We discuss the NBPA conference call with seven people who we can’t imagine on one conference call talking about restarting the NBA. And Matt from Mt. Joy joins us to talk about whether we’ll remember the Sixers season better if they never play again, the artistic merit of Here They Come, the creative process during Quarantine, if Kevin O’Connor is a liar, and more. Matt also performs his cover of a Tony T. classic, and “Death” from Mt. Joy’s new album.
